Business Development Director (Marketing / Advertising)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Director to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new business growth by identifying and securing new clients, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding our market presence, with a particular focus on lead generation.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive outbound sales strategy to achieve business growth targets.
- Develop our lead generation via outbound activity; using market research, networking, and our comprehensive set of lead generation tools.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, ensuring a steady pipeline of potential clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs and presenting tailored solutions.
- Work closely with the Chief Client Officer to manage the sales process from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and challenges.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and business development performance.
- Represent Gravity Global at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of success in outbound sales and business development, with a strong emphasis on lead generation, preferably within the marketing or advertising industry.
- Strong understanding of marketing strategies and solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalise on new business opportunities.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
