Director of Strategic Planning
We are seeking a Director of Strategic Planning to lead our US team and act as a key player in our global Strategy Team. This role is pivotal in overseeing the development and execution of brand strategies and advertising campaigns for our esteemed clients and identifying new business opportunities.
Strategic Leadership: As the leader of the US strategic planning team, your role is to define the direction for brand strategies and advertising campaigns. You'll also be a crucial member of the global team.
Collaboration: Work closely with department heads in client service, research, media planning, creative, content, GTM, F.A.B., growth, and digital experience to ensure cohesive strategy and execution.
Client Relationships: Forge strong relationships with key clients, providing strategic guidance and developing new relationships at the C-suite level.
Brand to Demand: Oversee the strategic direction and cohesion of end-to-end programmes and ensure continuing alignment with the client’s business and market objectives.
Market Analysis: Carry out research, share findings, and conduct market analysis to inform decision-making and identify opportunities.
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop the strategic planning team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, presenting strategic proposals to prospective clients.
Industry Trends: Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements, applying this knowledge to strategies and campaigns.
Reporting: Provide comprehensive reports on campaign performance, strategic insights, and market analysis to senior management and clients.
Commercial Management: Maintain positive commercial contribution of the US Strategy practice in line with objectives, deploying and monitoring appropriate pricing and resourcing strategies
- Other duties as assigned
- Proven experience in strategic planning within the advertising or marketing sector, preferably in a leadership role.
- Exceptional understanding of branding, marketing, and digital strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Demonstrated track record of developing successful advertising campaigns and strategies.
