We are looking for a B2B Group Account Director to join our dynamic and fast-growing agency. You will be responsible for overseeing and growing a portfolio of key accounts, delivering high-quality solutions that meet and exceed client expectations, and mentoring and coaching a team of account managers.
B2B Group Account Director
As a B2B Group Account Director, you will have a deep understanding of the B2B market, the challenges and opportunities facing our clients, and the best practices and trends in B2B marketing and sales. You will also have strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, as well as a proven track record of building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Lead and manage a team of account directors, ensuring they deliver on client objectives, budgets, and timelines.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for account growth and retention, identifying new opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within client organizations, as well as with internal and external partners.
- Provide strategic guidance and direction to clients, based on their goals, needs, and challenges, and present creative and effective solutions that drive results
- Monitor and report on account performance, using data and insights to optimize campaigns and demonstrate value and ROI
- Ensure quality standards and best practices are followed across all account activities and deliverables
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise, ensuring client satisfaction and retention
- Contribute to the overall vision and direction of the agency and participate in new business development and pitching.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in account management, preferably in a B2B agency environment
- 3+ years of experience in leading and managing teams
- Experience in developing and executing B2B marketing and sales strategies, across various channels and platforms
- Experience in working with clients from different industries and sectors, such as technology, healthcare, manufacturing, etc.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to use data and insights to drive action and results
- Experience with digital and traditional media account management and media finance
- Experience with global teams and clients and international campaigns
- Proficient in MS Office and relevant software tools, such as CRM, project management, etc.
- Passionate, proactive, and collaborative, with a customer-centric mindset and a growth-oriented attitude
